An opportunity for all women: THE W.I.N.

Has your gender ever caused you to feel inadequate in a business setting? Have you ever been unable to form enduring partnerships because of preconceived ideas about women in business? Have you ever let your fear of rejection prevent you from engaging in discussion with influential people in business? The W.I.N., also called the Women’s Information Network, founded by Dr. Paula Fellingham is a unique opportunity for women to actively contribute to improving women’s equality and status in business whilst being able to network and connect with wonderful female entrepreneurs. Research indicates that exclusively female networks are becoming increasingly popular, and Dr. Fellingham's influence on this trend cannot be understated. Paula Fellingham is a well-known personality in the contemporary international women's movement, having founded both the Women of the Middle East Network and WIN WIN Women. She also established the non-profit Global Prosperity and Peace Initiative and the Women's Global Alliance, which enabled her to win awards from the previous three US presidents. Throughout her more than 30-year career, she developed a successful system that enables women to network and grow in a safe and empowering setting. Women returning from parental leave or starting their careers may find significant advantages in joining an international professional network. Female exclusive networks provide vital resources and opportunities for career advancement. Because of their increased exposure through networking, women may be paid more and have an easier time rising to the top positions in a company. Women-only professional networks have become a familiar feature of the corporate world. Set up to channel female voices and offer professional and personal value to each of its members, some have even become big businesses themselves. They are seen as trustworthy and accessible sources of advice and information which will help young female entrepreneurs to start on the right track. Women's Information Network is a wonderful illustration of this phenomenon. With the goal of assisting 3.9 billion women and girls in achieving excellence in all spheres of their lives, in a setting designed by women, for women, and about women. Paula Fellingham established the global organization WIN WIN Women as a worldwide multidisciplinary media company that integrates the most effective channels available today, including social media, virtual events, apps, and local organizations coming together in "Circles."

After asking herself, “How can we live in dignity and contribute to the well-being of women and families worldwide?”, Paula Fellingham began working to make a better world for all women, children, and families through The Women’s Information Network. The WIN is now presenting 1,000 Global Women’s Summits worldwide. The WIN Motto: “We Are Women Helping Women Live Our Best Lives.” The WIN successfully organized the largest-ever assembly of women in history on March 8, 2011, the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, with 377 live events in 152 nations. Being part of such an event could prove advantageous for any female student in business. By showing a particular interest in women’s positions in the business world, companies might see a future entrepreneur who seeks out space to grow and make a positive change when facing struggle. When an individual is driven by personal values and identifies to a cause, it is reflected in their performance, and they might be more likely to think outside of the box to resolve ongoing or novel issues. Problem-solving is a worldwide researched criterion in the hiring process and being part of such an organization might stimulate young women to be more confident in the ability of their ideas to have an impact on a wider audience. Being a successful entrepreneur with multiple experiences, Paula became an inspiration for all women. Her comprehensive “Total Life Excellence” curriculum is taught globally to strengthen people mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, financially, and in their relationships. It is fundamental for female entrepreneurs to take example on her journey to distinguish themselves from the mass. In an increasingly competitive environment where women and men are more attentive to their habits, discipline, and lifestyle, it is fundamental to build the right connections that will allow your ideas to reach a wider audience. WIN WIN Women has been envisioned for this purpose and we invite all students to be curious about such an organization. Who knows... maybe you will be the next Paula Fellingham?
